This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the mobile application Teleprompter Cam: Video Script (the "App"), provided by the App's developer ("we," "us," or "the Service Provider"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.


1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE The Service Provider does not collect or store personally identifiable information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, address, email, or phone number (unless you voluntarily provide it by contacting us). The App does not require you to create an account or register.


2. YOUR CONTENT (SCRIPTS AND RECORDINGS) The scripts you write and the videos you record are created and stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded, copied, or transmitted to us or to any external server. We have no access to your scripts or recordings. You remain in full control of this content and can delete it at any time from within the App.


3. CAMERA AND MICROPHONE The App requests access to your camera and microphone solely to let you record videos while reading your script on the device. This footage is processed on your device and saved locally. We do not access, view, or transmit your camera or microphone data.


4. PHOTO LIBRARY The App requests permission to save your recorded videos to your device's photo library and to share them, only when you choose to do so. It does not read, scan, or upload your existing photos or videos.


5. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT The App does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, or third‑party marketing SDKs, and does not collect usage data or location data. The App functions fully offline and does not require an internet connection to work.


6. THIRD‑PARTY SERVICES

Apple: As the App is distributed through the App Store, Apple may collect certain information in accordance with Apple's own Privacy Policy. When you use the "Rate Us" feature, Apple's standard review prompt is shown; no data is collected by us.

  • Sharing: When you share a video using your device's share sheet, the video is sent to the app or recipient you select, and their handling of it is governed by their own terms and policies.
  • External links: The App may open links (such as this Privacy Policy) in your browser. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external websites.

7. DATA SECURITY Because your content stays on your device, its security is tied to your device's own protections. We recommend using a passcode and keeping your operating system up to date. Deleting the App removes its locally stored scripts; videos saved to your photo library remain there until you delete them.


8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personal information, this concern is minimal, but if you believe a child has provided us information by contacting us, please reach out and we will delete it.


9. YOUR CHOICES
You can revoke camera, microphone, or photo permissions at any time in your device Settings (note that recording features will not work without camera/microphone access). You can delete individual scripts and recordings within the App at any time.


10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date." Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
